actually, i should study by myself for the college exams…but i wanted to write just a thought about this._.
okay, so i watched this vid » I AM ART by stodoe
and there’s a scene when he criticized about an abstract painting. honestly, i really agree with what he portrayed.
i mean like, as much as i love an abstract painting, but a canvas painted with white or just one of any other colors also one shaped only just so ridiculous-_- yet the artists praising their “artwork” like the best one among any abstract painting…it also usually costs more bucks than the objective one.__.
although it is called “abstract” it doesn’t mean that it has no meaning. people usually misunderstands an abstract painting as a pointless thing.-_-
one thing that i wanted to discuss about is a job as an artist. many people still barely can’t understand that ‘artist’ is also a job an artist themselves had to do for living. people still considering an artist just ‘a people who draw’. it is true that what an artist do are drawing/sketching/designing something, but it is a job, you know what i mean?
it is freaking same like what scientist/businessman/any other adults people with talents and/or degree do, a job for living. yet people still didn’t understand by ‘stealing’ their artwork or just placing it on their sites/somewhere for freaking free-_-
